Today December 2, 2010 it is with joy and some relief I share that MWIRD has made this payroll and will continue operating through December 17, 2010 – next payroll. Very special thanks to those listed below. Also in response to this direct and urgent appeal MWIRD is being considered for three small stop gap grants, a total of $41,000. They inshallah will provide operational support to allow the basic needs work, of which the hunger relief is key, of MWIRD to continue.

With an anticipated increase in the number of new clients making use of the food pantries MWIRD operates due to the loss of unemployment benefits I urge each of you to make a donation to support this work.

MWIRD does have friends that want us to keep providing basic needs services. Some respondents thus far are:
